Connie is a partner of the firm MSMLAW (Macdonald Sager Manis LLP) and was called to the Bar in 1994. She obtained her Bachelor of Laws degree from Osgoode Hall Law School, and her Honours Bachelor of Arts degree in International Relations and French Language & Literature from the University of Toronto.

Connie's business practice is varied and encompasses the areas of corporate and commercial Law.

Her corporate practice includes the creation, dissolution, amalgamation, and re-organization of corporations, as well as the representation of foreign corporations doing business in Canada. Her commercial practice includes acting for major banks and credit unions on the financing of businesses; acting on the purchase and sale of businesses; and drafting and advising on a wide range of commercial contracts.

For several years, Connie was an instructor of both the Business Law and the Real Estate Sections of the Law Society’s Bar Admissions Course. Most recently, she was involved in setting the new licensing exams for Ontario lawyers. Connie is fluent in Portuguese; has worked on radio and television; and is very active as a volunteer, both by providing pro bono legal services and by acting as a director on various boards of non-profit and charitable organizations.
